I have personally met and taken classes from two of the authors of these books.
I’ve taken a week-long mushroom cultivation course from Paul Stamets in Seattle plus I’ve spent some time with him down in Palenque and Oaxaca, MX. He’s a scientist and his primary interest is with psychoactive mushrooms.
I’ve taken several courses from, and have been out in the field collecting with, David Arora many times in Santa Cruz, California. He is a traditional young scientist-type with a great sense of humor and wide, open minded interests.
