PEGANUM HARMALA

SYRIAN RUE: Grows best in rich, dry, sandy soil in full
sun (shade young plants for a year or so). Produces the dye “Turkish Red”
used in Persian rugs. Also produces several Ayahuasca-like compounds. The
seeds and roots are used.
